What is a sleeping pod / capsule bed?+
A sleeping pod (also called a capsule bed or capsule hotel pod) is a compact, enclosed sleeping unit designed for short-stay rest. Each pod has its own mattress, lighting, ventilation, charging port and security lock — giving guests private, comfortable sleep in a footprint up to 70% smaller than a traditional hotel room.
How much does a sleeping pod cost in India?+
BIDUA Pods imported premium series (GALAXY, COSMOS, Wooden, E-Sports) start around ₹1,61,200 per set of 2 pods, ex-factory. Made-in-India FRP/Platinum series are priced lower with shorter lead times. GST (18%), freight and installation are quoted separately. See our pricing guide for details.
Where are BIDUA Pods manufactured?+
BIDUA Pods offers two ranges: imported premium pods built with Taiwan Chi-Mei V0 fire-retardant ABS shells (GALAXY, COSMOS, Wooden, E-Sports series), and Made-in-India FRP/Platinum series manufactured at our facility in India.
Is the material fire-safe?+
Yes — our shells use V0-rated fire-retardant ABS (the same grade used in aerospace and automotive interiors). The material self-extinguishes and does not propagate flame.
How long does installation take?+
A cluster of 8–12 pods typically installs in 1–3 days after delivery. Larger projects (50+ pods) are phased over 1–2 weeks. We provide turnkey installation across India with our own trained technicians.
What warranty do you provide?+
Warranty applies only to Made-in-India FRP/Platinum series — 12-month structural warranty on shell + frame, and 6-month warranty on electronics (LED control panel, ventilation fans). Imported pods (GALAXY, COSMOS, Wooden, E-Sports, ABS Flagship, BACK TO FUTURE 2047, EXPLORE THE WORLD series) are sold without warranty — they are imported on a sold-as-is, landed-India basis. Extended Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) are available on request for Made-in-India units.
Can pods be customised with our logo or brand colours?+
Yes — we offer brand-customisation options including logo decals, custom shell colours (from a palette of 8 standard colours: White, Pink, Yellow, Black, Blue, Green, Orange, Grey), upholstery and signage. Available on orders of 10+ pods.
Do you provide GST invoice?+
Yes — BIDUA Industries Pvt Ltd is a GST-registered manufacturer and we provide proper tax invoices so you can claim Input Tax Credit (ITC).
What is the minimum order quantity?+
Most products are sold as a set of 2 pods (the minimum for an efficient install). For project orders of 10+ units, volume discounts apply automatically.
Do you deliver across India?+
Yes — we deliver and install across all major Indian cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Goa, and 50+ tier-2 cities. International shipping available on request.
Are your pods used by airports / hospitals / hotels?+
Yes — BIDUA Pods are deployed by hotels, capsule-hotel operators, hospitals (doctor & attendant rest), corporate offices (nap zones), backpacker hostels, airport lounge operators and railway-station retiring-room licensees across India.
